ļøā£ š Ask for feedback, donāt just give itš: Increase your awareness of how you impact others by proactively asking.
ļøā£ ā ļø Call out toxic behaviourā ļø: Create a positive culture by demonstrating the behaviours and values you expect by quashing bad behaviour quickly.
ļøā£ š³ Coach donāt micromanageš³: Allow your teams the space to manage their functions, so they can learn and grow, and ultimately be more effective.
ļøā£ š¬ Focus on outcomes, not face-timeš¬: Embrace flexible and hybrid working - it makes business sense and is a priority for many employees.
ļøā£ š Invest in yourselfš: Leadership and management skills need to developed to build confidence and skills, particularly given that 80% of new managers have had no formal training.
ā»ļø During June & July I will be investing in myself by joining a Sustainability Leadership boot camp to increase my skills and knowledge on the subject. This is an important topic for many businesses globally and Iām keen to factor this into my bespoke leadership programmes.
