How do you build “trust” with your team and clients?
1️⃣ First and foremost orient yourself around them - not yourself! If you are too self-orientated you lose trust immediately!
2️⃣ Secondly, build your credibility. You need to demonstrate relevant expertise, experience and skills.
3️⃣ Thirdly, show them you are reliable. Do what you say you are going to do - consistently.
4️⃣ Fourthly, create real intimacy by putting yourself into their shoes. This shows that you understand their business & issues in detail.
💯 You can learn all the skills in the world about leadership, management, communication, coaching or selling, but if you aren’t able to build “trust” it can all be for nothing - your impact is significantly reduced.
