Many organisations are still trying to 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒖𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒂𝒄𝒉 going forward and whilst the 𝒆𝒙𝒆𝒄𝒔 𝒎𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒐𝒇𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝒔𝒑𝒂𝒄𝒆 at home 𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒚 𝒆𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒐𝒚𝒆𝒆𝒔 𝒅𝒐𝒏'𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒚 𝒅𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒔𝒑𝒂𝒄𝒆. There is also the challenge of 𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒉𝒚𝒃𝒓𝒊𝒅 𝒎𝒆𝒆𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔 with some people in the office and others not. What is best practise? 𝑯𝒐𝒘 𝒅𝒐 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌? I'm not sure many organisations proactively train their teams on these skills.

It's always interesting talking about how executives run their businesses. Do they have a "𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒅 & 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒍" approach or do they "𝑮𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒍" to their leadership teams? Creating an environment where 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒔 and 𝒃𝒖𝒚𝒔 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒐 "𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒅𝒐𝒏𝒆" and the 𝒆𝒙𝒆𝒄𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒔 "𝒘𝒂𝒍𝒌 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒌" helps to create high performance cultures.

Understanding 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏 and 𝒘𝒉𝒚 our"𝒃𝒖𝒕𝒕𝒐𝒏𝒔" have been pushed, 𝒉𝒐𝒘 this makes us feel and 𝒉𝒐𝒘 we choose to react is important in life. Whether it's your 𝒕𝒆𝒆𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆 𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒅𝒓𝒆𝒏 who don't do what you ask them or it's 𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒘𝒉𝒐'𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 to your ideas at work - working through 𝒘𝒉𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒉𝒐𝒘 you react and finding 𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒘𝒂𝒚𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒆𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒖𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 and 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒕 often helps.

I love talking about sport and getting the best out of teams. This morning we were talking about 𝒈𝒊𝒓𝒍'𝒔 𝒏𝒆𝒕𝒃𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒎𝒔 and 𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍 𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒔𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒎𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑 and 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 so the girls 𝒑𝒖𝒍𝒍 𝒕𝒐𝒈𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 and 𝒆𝒏𝒋𝒐𝒚 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒎𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 of their season.
