👂👊💡𝑫𝒐 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒊𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒕𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒂 𝒄𝒐𝒂𝒄𝒉, 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒐𝒓?
👈 😕👉Not surprisingly it seems there are 𝒅𝒊𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒗𝒊𝒆𝒘𝒔 out there on what each of these of do, how they operate and the benefits or advise each provide.
📢⚽👔Some of the confusion probably comes from the fact that the title of coach, consultant and mentor are used quite liberally in 𝒅𝒊𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒙𝒕𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒓𝒐𝒍𝒆𝒔 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒃𝒆 𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒈𝒆𝒅. A 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒇𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒔 𝒄𝒐𝒂𝒄𝒉 would probably be expected to provide advise, judgements and opinions based on their experience to their team to improve their performance. Whereas good practise for a 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒇𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒂𝒄𝒉 means not providing advise or judgements to individuals, rather creating greater client awareness through smart questioning to help individuals move forward positively.
🎥🎥🎥For these reasons I thought I'd share 𝒎𝒚 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 on each of these roles in a short video, particularly given that my business provide services in all of these areas.
In simple terms you could say:
👂🚀👂"𝑨 𝑪𝒐𝒂𝒄𝒉 𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒑𝒔 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒔𝒆𝒆 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒄𝒂𝒏'𝒕 𝒔𝒆𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒎𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒚 𝒃𝒚 𝒂𝒔𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒒𝒖𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔"

I'm sure you've all got your own opinions based on who you worked with and the experiences you've had.
