š¤ What can we learn from other cultures to improve our performance & wellbeing?
š I've been fortunate to work with several diverse international groups recently.
š§ There is always something we can learn from other cultures.
šÆ If you understand how people think, lead and get things done across cultures you can massively improve your impact.
Here are 6 Japanese techniques which have the power to transform your performance & wellbeing.
š Ikigai - discover your purpose in life. Find something that makes you want to wake up every day because your purpose fuels you.
šŖ Kaizen - focus on small improvements each day rather than trying to do everything at once.
š° Shoshin - approach every task like a beginner with the same curiosity as if you were doing it for the first time.
š« Wabisabi - embrace imperfection instead of stressing over every little detail. Taking action is better than waiting for perfection.
š The Pomodoro technique - work for 25 minutes without distractions, take a break for 5 minutes, then repeat - itās a great way to get more done in less time.
š± Hara Hachi Bu - donāt stuff yourself with food - when you are 80% full stop eating - this will increase your energy.
Which of these have you tried and found effective?
