🌅🌅🌅 𝑯𝒐𝒘 𝒅𝒐 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒔𝒑𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒈𝒓𝒐𝒘 𝒂𝒔 𝒂 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓?
🗻🗻🗻 Over the past 3 days I’ve had the 𝒑𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒖𝒓𝒆 to run a 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒎𝒎𝒆 up in the 𝑷𝒆𝒂𝒌 𝑫𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒕 working with 𝒃𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔. Here are a few of my 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝒉𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔:
⚡️⚡️⚡️ 𝑹𝒂𝒊𝒔𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑬𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒈𝒚 𝒍𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒔: Passion and Enthusiasm are great ways to raise your energy levels and are critical when engaging with other people. This is crucial when training, coaching, developing or leading people, no matter your levels of expertise.
🌈🌈🌈 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒑𝒖𝒔𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔: It’s amazing how much humans can push themselves and what they can achieve. Purposefully put yourself in challenging situations, which require more energy, to better understand your capabilities and potential.
🔥🔥🔥 𝑬𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑼𝒏𝒆𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒆𝒅: You can prepare yourself for unexpected changes. Increase your resilience by widening your perspective, role playing different situations and visioning. When the unexpected suddenly happens you’ll be much better able to cope and probably get less stressed.
🌳 🗻 🌳 𝑼𝒔𝒆 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆, 𝒊𝒕’𝒔 𝑷𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒇𝒖𝒍: Getting people outside into nature, away from the normal working environment, really does help people become more connected with everything, including themselves and other people. People become more open and willing to embrace new ideas.
💯 💯💯 𝑷𝒖𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑻𝒆𝒂𝒎 𝑭𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕: High performance teams recognise the value of everyone in the team and have the desire and motivation to put the team first. When inevitable challenges arise individuals step up and find solutions for the team.
✨✨✨ 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒅𝒆𝒆𝒑𝒍𝒚 𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒔 𝑴𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒄: High levels of trust need to develop in teams to get individuals to be brave, vulnerable and authentic with each other. When this happens amazing things can happen as they connect more deeply. Whilst it can be emotional, this is where magic moments are created.
🎯🎯🎯 𝑻𝒓𝒖𝒆 𝑪𝒐𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒔 𝒆𝒎𝒑𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈: Many leaders think they are coaching, when in fact they are advising or mentoring. Resist the urge to give options or ask leading questions. Use empowering questions and let the individuals find their way. This builds confidence and allows them to grow.
