I'm sure, like myself, many of you have received some interesting new books as gifts over the festive period.
As always you've got to start somewhere, so I've decided to read a couple of classics first:
๐ง โ ๐ง ๐ถ๐๐ ๐ฐ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ด๐๐๐๐๐๐ - an updated 10th anniversary edition telling a simple story about doing well under stress and the uncertainty of rapid change. A very on point fable about penguins having to deal with their home being devastated. It's completely relatable to business and is based on John Kotter's eight steps of change.
๐ ๐ฃ ๐ ๐๐๐ & ๐ป๐๐ ๐จ๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ด๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ด๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ - a 40th anniversary edition telling the story of a father and son's unforgettable motorcycle trip across America's Northwest. It's a modern classic about life, our existence, and the small essential triumphs that move us forward. I'm looking forward to re-experiencing this philosophical odyssey.
Here's a couple of reading quotes to finish on and inspire you to read those books you've just received:
