Progressive Culture

🤔 How do you create a progressive culture in your organisation?



💯 I’m intrigued by techniques which enable groups of people (teams) to perform at their best – not just once, but over a sustained period of time.



This week I’ve been doing some research into a couple of related topics: 


♻ Organisational Systems Theory: the interconnectedness and interdependence of the various parts of an organisation which creates a socially complex system.


🧠 Organisational Learning: developing and integrating organisational knowledge into everyday practice to create a powerful tool which multiplies an organisation’s impact as it grows.




Many leaders would like to have a “ordered” system in place within their organisation with:


🎯 Firm plans and instructions to execute.


🎯 Clear goals which focus on a specific outcomes.


🎯 Repeatable activities and actions which drive efficiencies.


🎯 Hard lines of authority within their organisational structure.



The most effective leaders recognise they are dealing with complex systems of people, organisations & markets, which require:


✨ A vision which allows employees to choose pathways forward.


⚡ A culture which enables teams to show up at their energetic best.


💡 An environment which encourages growth and expects knock-backs.


🔀 Flexible boundaries & incentives which stimulate positive behaviours.
