Storytelling

šŸ¤” How effective is your storytelling?

šŸ’Æ We've all be told to use storytelling in our presentations, pitches or talks to make them more memorable and impactful.

šŸ’” Think how many times you have to pitch an idea or proposal in business.

šŸ’” For many leaders and managers it's likely to be a regular occurrence.

šŸ’” You are expected to challenge the norm, create ideas for growth and take ownership of your teams actions.

Storytelling is a powerful tool, consider these 3 points when you next pitch :

šŸŽÆ Hook your Audience - be provocative and surprising - challenge the audience.

šŸŽÆ Heart of the Matter - use a personal story or anecdote to activate the emotions of your audience.

šŸŽÆ Call to Action - Create a memorable ending and be clear on what the audience need to know or do.

šŸ’Æ I'm lucky to live with a writer who is regularly coming up with new stories.

šŸ“š In fact, here's an image of my wife's latest new book - "The Extraordinary Case of the Myanmar Rubies" - it's aimed at children aged 8 to 12 years - but of course we are all young at heart and if you like a rip roaring mystery adventure have a read - link is in the comments.

You can find her books here:

Have a great weekend.
