šÆ We've all be told to use storytelling in our presentations, pitches or talks to make them more memorable and impactful.
š” Think how many times you have to pitch an idea or proposal in business.
š” For many leaders and managers it's likely to be a regular occurrence.
š” You are expected to challenge the norm, create ideas for growth and take ownership of your teams actions.
Storytelling is a powerful tool, consider these 3 points when you next pitch :
šÆ Hook your Audience - be provocative and surprising - challenge the audience.
šÆ Heart of the Matter - use a personal story or anecdote to activate the emotions of your audience.
šÆ Call to Action - Create a memorable ending and be clear on what the audience need to know or do.
