🤔 How do you select a winning team?

🏆 Twelve months before England won the Rugby World Cup in 2003 I was involved in a fun Pro-Am corporate rugby day.

High Performance Teams

🏉 It was when NEC Corporation were sponsors of Harlequins rugby team and I captained a Hutchison Whampoa Three UK team. 

🎟️ Each team captain got to select two raffle tickets which were matched to two Harlequin players.

😀 Amazingly I selected Will Greenwood and Jason Leonard OBE for our team - two legends of the game and both soon to become world cup winners - lady luck was shining on me that day!

💯 Of course in business we don't rely on "luck" to bring Talent into our organisations. We make purposeful decisions about our leaders and how to build sustainable high performance teams.
